What is the procedure to follow with prepaid taxi in Mumbai International airport?

Can somebody please explain what is the procedure to follow when it comes to using one of those dreaded pre-paid taxis at Mumbai international airport?

Do you have to buy a card or something? I remember traveling with someone when I was younger, and we had a card that had to be given to a police and etc. etc.

How does this all work out :-) ?

There is no procedure as such.Please go to the pre-paid taxi counterand tell the destination you want to go. They will ask
you how many baggagesyou have and then tellthe fare. Once you give the fare, they will give you a receipt, in which the taxi number will be indicated. Please go to the taxi parking lot and hand over the receipt to the driver of taxi. Before leaving the airport premises, the receipt will have to be shown at the police check post.
