This song was sung by great Yesudas Ji. It is a very sad fact that the North Indian supremacy never allowed Yesudas to reign in their territory. Kishore ar, Lata Mangeshkar, Amitabh Bachan etc. played a great role to get rid of a South-Indian performing well in the North. This was the case with Vani Jayaram and many other South-Indian Singers. The result ?..Biggest loss for hindi music industry… We, the people in south were so lucky to own fantastic songs to cherish a lifetime.
