one of the reasons this AND madhosh flopped was cause of MAHENDRA SANDHU, the leading man, who really was a poor man’s DHARMENDRA. He later had a big hit with another B-grade film, AGENT VINOD(1977), but by then it was all too late.

It’s interesting how RD BURMAN- my favourite- composed quality music for all films and then later realised that B-GRADER’S wern’t worth so much effort, hence you end up with films like this, Madhosh, Rani mera naam etc having fantastic songs.

Reena did several horror films in her earlier days: Goonj, Jadu Tona, Apne Dushman, Jaani Dushman and Nagin. Unfortunately this film flopped so it very hard to find. I might be able to find it on VCD. I will let you know.
