Can Indians all wear khadi ?

GANDHIJI WORE KHADI ,A PIECE OF WHITE CLOTH.HE WANTED EVERYBODY TO FOLLOW THE SAME PATTERN TO BRING ABOUT EQUALITY.SHOULD WE OR COULD WE ACCEPT HIS PROPOSAL IF WE WERE LIVING AROUND HIS LIFETIME?WHAT WOULD THE REACTIONS OF OUR LIBERALISED TEENS BE?
khadi is very nice material. but costly compared to other materials. yes not only Indians anybody can wear khadi if he/she likes it.we cannot force our children to wear only khadi as we have hundreds of choice which are more attractive than khadi. which are made in india. however we can make them understand the significance of khadi & tell them why our mahatma insisted on wearing khadi. they can have atleast one or two dresses of khadi. it was during the freedom struggle the importance of khadi was more. now that we produce most of the textiles in india, there is no need to wear only khadi.

khadi is very good material people must wear it. its looks nice both to male and female.

there is nothing wrong in wearing khadi…in fact khadi clothes can be worn in modern style in latest fashions
