I’ll feel better w/Maxine Waters in charge of extracting, refining, & distributing oil. Surely, government workers can do this more efficiently than private industry and, if not, we can subsidize oil with tax revenue. When rationaing is needed, oil can go to the most productive members of society first, 20 to 45 y.o. (after congress & government workers), followed by the elderly and kids. This ties nicely with healthcare – government run euthanasia will ensure old people demand less oil.
