Ya Sabaha Ya Sabaha What dangers loom ahead How will you protect yourself from it?
November 5th, 2009 | by admin |The prophet Muhammed (saw) went to the top of Mount Safa one day and Shouted " Ya Sabaha ! Ya Sabaha" (This is a cry that people make when there is great and imminent danger (e.g. and army about to attack you))
So the people of Quraysh assembled to hear what the prophet Muhammed (saw) had to say as to why he said "Ya Sabaha"
So the prophet Muhammed (saw) asked: "Would you believe me, if i were to tell you that behind this hill there is an enemy ready to attack you ? "
The people replied "We have never heard you tell a lie. " So please take note of the character of the pophet Muhammed (saw) BEFORE he got ANY revelation, he was KNOWN to be honest and truthful !
So the prophet (saw) said to the people of Quraysh " Then I warn you that a punishment is looming upon you." Then he called each tribe of people and told them to save themselves from the fire, then he would call individuals and told them to save themselves from the fire.
Then Abu Lahab (the UNLCLE of the prophet Muhammed (saw)) said before anybody else could reply "May your day perish, is this all you have called us for ?" Abu Lahab was more concerned about his business and wordly life !
Thus a surah was revealed to the prophet Muhammed (SAW). Surah Masad which is surah number 111:
1. Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab (an uncle of the Prophet), and perish he!
2. His wealth and his children (etc.) will not benefit him!
3. He will be burnt in a Fire of blazing flames!
4. And his wife too, who carries wood (thorns of Sadan which she used to put on the way of the Prophet () , or use to slander him).
5. In her neck is a twisted rope of Masad (palm fibre).

So I say to you YA SABAHA ! YA SABAHA !
Will you head the warning or will you be just like Abu Lahab ?
How will you head this warning ?
May Allah guide us all ! and protect us and our families from the fire whose fuel is men and stone.

i dont know why, but i just now feel this q influenced on me, so baraka LLAH fik.
its scary to think about hell fire and its like each one of us is the sahaba(ra) who listenned to the prophet(as) warning them.
i just ask Allah to save us from hell fire and to protect our faith, death could come in any sec…. thank u really for the reminder….
i will try to be more nice here…
