Needle less Knitting techniques?

I like braiding Yarn ,but I dont know of any techniques that just deal with your hand and the yarn?

I’ve heard of the loom, but I didn’t like he needle or hook, is there an actual technique I could google that deals with just the hands and yarn

or just the loom hands and yarn, no other tools?

    I once made a hanging flower pot holder with a lg O- ring to hang by and just braided the yarn. Google that. I’ll bet there’s a picture of one. good luck
