Beautiful work, but …
Beautiful work, but sadly underpaid. I have seen similar situations on my travels in Indonesia and other coutries in Asia. Even those in the factories which are replacing the manual laborers are underpaid. It is a long hard struggle for those people who have known nothing throughout history but poverty.
Always respect all forms of labor. It gives humanity its dignity. These people deserve better.

This situation is …
This situation is deplorable. Only recently I had a chance to get to know a little about textile weaving and it was a big surprise to me. It was amazing to realize how interesting the technique is. Now, I can see how blind I was to such a valuable craftsmanship. Regretably, ordinary people are not able to clearly see remarkable things around just because they did not have a chance to learn about them. What do economists know about it?
