My Dream Guitar – A Gibson Custom Gold Burst

For the last year or more, I’ve been pining to get a nice Gibson Les Paul guitar.

There are two problems in my way:

#1 – They aren’t cheap

#2 – There aren’t that many that are available for sale.

I’ve got some money put away but I can’t quite make myself pull the trigger on one. I keep hoping to find the exact model that I want at an amazing price.

Unfortunately, this approach has cause me to miss out on some great deals as I waffled back and forth until someone bought the guitar right out from underneath me.

My ideal one would be a 1979 to 1981 Goldburst Custom, but they are nearly impossible to find these days.
