    It need not be viewed as a racist comment. I agree that music has no barriers; however, lyrics – and the intensity of the lyrics and the depth of the meaning conveyed – varies among languages. This is sadly true even to songs that are directly translated from one language to another. Being equally fluent in Tamil and Hindi, I have seen this occur in so many songs of films that were re-made in Hindi.
