The Pottery Wheel
March 12th, 2010 | by admin |I have never been that interested in pottery or drawing, as it just wasn’t anything I was ever good at!
But watching a friend take some clay and throw it on a wheel, and mould it, and mould it, then decorate it and actually use it as a bowl in his kitchen, well, that got me interested!
I started by using a very simple clay recipe that any child could follow, moulded it, let it bake in the oven and then glazed it when it was dry.
I am still proud when I look at it, the colours are very bright & attractive and people do admire it when they see it!
Pottery can be so much fun, and its great to use your hands.
